Today we have a new spin on the Classic Espresso Martini. Using Caribbean Spiced Rum to make the flavour of the coffee shot richer and comparable to the taste of a dirty chai latte. The Triple sec provides the cocktail with an orange tropical twist complimenting the rum as the citrus industry in the Caribbean is large due to the warm climate.
Ingredients
-Spiced Caribbean Rum 45ml
-Coffee Shot 30ml
-Triple Sec 15ml
-Chocolate Powder
-X stencil
Steps
1) Cool martini glass
2) Add Spiced Rum, Coffee Shot and Triple Sec to an ice filled shaker and shake well
(Tips: The longer you shake the more of a crème layer you will create for this cocktail)
3) Pour mixture into martini glass, pouring steeper towards the end
4) Place the X stencil over the martini glass and shake or sift the chocolate powder over this
5) Carefully remove stencil
6) Ask “Why is the rum gone?” Before you realise pirates have stolen your delicious cocktail 🏴☠️ 🦜
